(high school and girls try out dates coming soon)

Peninsula Gold is the AAU basketball program for Team12 Sports. We strive to be a “both and” program. One that is both competitive minded and development focused.

Here are just a few things that set us apart:

  • High Level Coaching Staff: 15 of our coaches have years of high school coaching experience and 8 coaches have played at the collegiate level
  • Skill training options throughout the season and make up opportunities for missed practices
  • International cultural/sports trip available to players in the summer after their 6th or 7th grade season
  • We are an official Under Armour program participating in the “invite only” UA Future (11U-14U) and UA Rise Circuits. (15U, 16U, 17U)

Program Highlights

Under Armor: We are so excited to be part of the Under Armour family with both our boys and girls teams participating in the “invite only” UA Future and UA Rise circuit.

UA Rise Boys: 15U, 16U, 17U will compete nationally in front of college coaches at NCAA certified events giving our players the opportunity to showcase on the biggest stage.

UA Future Boys and Girls: (Boys 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U; Girls 13U and 14U) These middle school teams will have the opportunity to compete against the top programs in the country. This will be the foundation to prepare our players to compete at the highest level.

Regional Teams: In addition to our Under Armour circuit teams we will have competitive teams at every grade level competing in top local tournaments with opportunities for travel. Previous seasons have played tournaments in locations such as Sacramento, Reno, Phoenix, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

Peninsula and SF locations: Our boys program is based out of the Peninsula with practices in Belmont, San Mateo and Burlingame. Our girls program is based out of the Peninsula and City with practices in Burlingame and San Francisco.

The Peninsula Gold Difference

We are excited for our spring season! As we gear up for tryouts, we’ve spent a lot of time thinking about the qualities we want to foster in our players. Our goal this season is to help our athletes develop their character as a teammate, grow their competitiveness as a player and do it in a fun, encouraging way that fits our culture.

So when building our teams this spring, we keep these attributes at the forefront:

CHARACTER – Who you are as a teammate, how you respond when things don’t go your way, being humble and hungry

COMPETITIVENESS – Displays perseverance and passion to be the best

CULTURE – We are for each other day in and day out
